How To Change This Page

1. Print this page. You can do this using the Print... option built into your web browser.
   
   
2. You must have an FTP client. Popular FTP clients are:
   • CuteFTP (Windows 3.1/Windows 95)
   • Fetch (Macintosh)
   • You can use any FTP client which will permit you to set a user ID and a password. Additionally, many web-page design programs have built-in FTP functions.
   
   
3. Use the following settings in your FTP client (Italicized words must be replaced with their proper values):
   • FTP Host: ftp.yoursite.holowww.com
   • User ID: root
   • Password: your HoloWWW password
   • Directory: https
   
   
4. Choose the proper mode for file uploads:
   • Upload your text and HTML files in TEXT or ASCII mode.
   • Upload other files, such as GIFs, JPEGs, sound and program files in BINARY or RAW DATA mode.
   • Macintosh users should only use MacBinary mode when uploading files which are to be used only by other Macintosh users.
   
   
5. This Default HoloWWW Home Page is called Welcome.html. Delete it from your https directory.
   
   
6. The file which you would like to be viewed by default at http://www.yoursite.holowww.com should be renamed to Welcome.html.
